OxLWOB hosted a workshop led by the New Internationalists in partnership with Oxford University Amnesty International Society.
“The Cost of Discrimination”
OxLWOB hosted a film screening in partnership with the Oxford Human Rights Hub, Iranwire English, Education Is Not A Crime. The screening was followed by a panel discussion with panellists including Professor Sandra Fredman, Rhodes Professor of Laws and expert on anti-discrimination law, human rights law and labour law, Dr Nazila Ghanea, Associate Professor of international and human rights law and Saleem Vaillancourt from IranWire

Research Panel on Artistic Freedoms in Venezuela
Oxford Lawyers Without Borders’s research panel created a report on the state of artistic freedoms and the law in Venezuela for our parent organisation, Lawyers Without Borders. The report was sent to the Artistic Freedom Center and UN Special Rapporteur in the field of Freedom of Expression.
Past Volunteering
Advocates Abroad Trip
OxLWOB, in collaboration with Advocates Abroad, sent students from Oxford to Greece on a field mission in a refugee camp. Katy Sheridan, Nathalie Koh, Milosz Palej, and David Baker, along with Advocates Abroad Coordinator Amanda Muñoz De Toro spent two weeks of working at the Vial refugee camp in Chios as legal volunteers.
